Dean C. Foster reports that all roads on the County roadway system
are in good shape this morning. Motorists may encounter a few
slushy spots, particularly on bridges and overpasses so caution

crews began to treat the roads Monday evening at 7:30 as the
first flakes of snow began to fall. Crews worked through the
night to ensure that roads would be clear by morning rush hour.
Approximately 375 tons of salt have been spread on County roads,
according to Foster. The salt has worked very well as temperatures
have risen steadily since the precipitation first moved into

While roads are not considered hazardous, motorists are encouraged
