Butler County Engineer
Dean C. Foster announces the promotion of two BCEO staff members
effective June 5, 2000:
Dennis E. Krall,
has been appointed to the position of Chief Deputy County Engineer.
As Chief Deputy Engineer, Mr. Krall will oversee Design and Engineering
in addition to his current duties which include township and
governmental liaison and coordinator of planning and funding.
Employed by the Butler
County Engineer's Office since 1974, Krall started as a co-op
student before graduating from the University of Cincinnati.
During his 26 years at the BCEO he has served in various capacities,
including Assistant Design Supervisor, Bridge Inspector, Deputy
Engineer of Operations, and Chief Deputy of Engineering Services.
Mr. Krall, who holds
a dual registration as a licensed Professional Engineer and Professional
Surveyor (P.E. and P.S.), succeeds David Brand who will leave
to become Assistant County Engineer of Madison County, Ohio.
Dale J. Schwieterman,
P.E. has been
appointed Deputy Engineer of Design. In addition to his current
role as lead design engineer, Mr. Schwieterman assumes responsibility
for commercial and residential development services and subdivision
Before coming to the
BCEO four years ago, Schwieterman was employed by Hazelet &
Erdal Consulting Engineers as a Bridge Design Engineer. While
at the Engineer's Office, he has served as a Bridge Engineer
and Lead Design Engineer.
Mr. Schwieterman graduated
from the University of Cincinnati in 1994 and received his registration
as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in 1998.
