NOTICE OF PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT WORKSHOP
Trenton Area Access Study: SR 63 Extension to US127

The Butler County Engineer's Office will hold a third public workshop to provide information to the public and solicit input about alternative alignments for the planned extension of State Route 63 from State Route 4 to U.S. 127. This workshop will identify and review the TAAC's (Trenton Area Access Committee) recommendations to date for the locally preferred alternative and seek public feedback.

Name of Project: Trenton Area Access Study (State Route 63 Extension to U.S. 127).

Public Workshop Date: Monday, December 18, 2000.

Time: 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Open house. Drop in at your convenience.

Location: Cinergy Woodsdale Generating Station - Community Meeting Room, 2100 Woodsdale Road, Madison Township, Butler County, Ohio.

Directions: Enter Cinergy off of Woodsdale Road just north of Chrisholm MetroPark. From Wayne Madison Road, take Woodsdale Road 1.3 miles northeast to Cinergy. From Kennel Road, take Woodsdale Road 1.6 miles south to Cinergy.

Workshop Format: Casual, open house style with information stations and displays about the project. Maps, flip charts, and other material will also be available for citizens to use in working discussions with project study team representatives from the BCEO, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and the Trenton Access Advisory Committee. These representatives will be available to answer questions and hear your ideas. Each information station will be staffed and specific comment forms will be provided.

Hosting Agency: Butler County Engineer's Office.

Other info: This will be the third of three planned public involvement sessions designed to help develop solutions to existing and future traffic problems in northern Butler County. An additional workshop may be scheduled in the spring. When completed, the Trenton Area Access Study will be used to select a preferred alignment to solve the transportation needs that have been identified in the vicinity of Trenton and surrounding areas.
