Butler County Engineer
Greg Willkens will host a Winter Salt Crisis Roundtable for local
and regional public works agencies throughout southwest Ohio
next Tuesday, September 30. Sponsored by the Southwest Ohio Branch
of the American Public Works Association, the event is expected
to draw about 80 officials who will gather to share ideas about
how to better conserve salt.

- Proper calibration
of salt spreaders;
