The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Millikin Road will close five feet east of the south leg of Lesourdsville West Chester Road and five feet west of Mauds Hughes Road for a road improvement project beginning Monday, July 29, 2019. The project will widen the travel lanes, adding other safety improvements within the project length of approximately 1.10 miles. During construction, local access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and school buses, as well as residents of Millikin Road within the construction zone. The road is tentatively scheduled to reopen November 8, 2019.

Detour: Eastbound Millikin Road traffic will detour south on S.R. 747, east on Princeton Road, and north on Yankee Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
