INTERSECTION OF HAMILTON MASON ROAD AND MAUDS HUGHES ROAD CLOSING
Liberty Township / West Chester Township

The Butler County Engineer's Office reports the closure of the intersection of Hamilton Mason Road and Mauds Hughes Road for a bridge replacement (over Gregory Creek) beginning Monday, July 6, 2020. Brumbaugh Construction, Inc. will begin construction approximately 100 feet west of the intersection.

The $1.7 million project, funded by state and local funds, is phase 1 of the Hamilton Mason Corridor Improvement. Phase 2, the Hamilton Mason Road at Mauds Hughes Intersection Improvement, will be built in 2022.

The intersection will be closed to all through traffic and will tentatively be reopened the week of December 7, 2020.

Detours:
Eastbound Hamilton Mason Road traffic will detour south on S.R. 747, east on
Tylersville Road, and north on Cincinnati Dayton Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.

Southbound Mauds Hughes Road traffic will detour east on Princeton Road and southwest on Cincinnati Dayton Road. Northbound traffic will reverse this route.
