BCEO SENDS CREW TO HELP WITH TORNADO RELIEF

Butler County Engineer Dean C. Foster has sent a crew to assist with tornado relief operations in neighboring Hamilton County in the wake of this morning's deadly twister.

Four BCEO employees were sent with chain saws to help with cleanup efforts in the Blue Ash area. All other crews are on standby in the event that additional help is requested. "We want to provide whatever assistance is needed," said Foster. "Our crews will be available for however long it takes. On behalf of the employees of the Butler County Engineer's Office, we extend our sympathy to the victims of this terrible storm."

A tornado moved through the Cincinnati metropolitan area around 5:00 this morning causing significant damage as it skipped from southwest to northeast across the area. Hardest hit by the tornado were the Cincinnati suburbs of Blue Ash, Montgomery, Loveland, and Sycamore Township.
