Tech 21 Bridge Photo Gallery
Ohio's 1st All-Composite Bridge

The Tech 21 Bridge was built in California and shipped to the Butler County Engineer's Office in three sections on one truck. It took one week to travel across the country, arriving at the BCEO facilities on June 24, 1997. The pictures below show the truck arriving and BCEO crews unloading the bridge sections, and the July 8th installation at the Smith Road site. For additional photos and information, please see the BCEO's 1997-98 Annual Report: Tech 21 Excerpt.
