UPDATE JUNE 27: NS HAS EXTENDED THE CLOSURE DATE TO FRIDAY, JUNE 28.

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close Augspurger Road at the tracks east of U.S. 127 to tamp through the crossing and repave the approaches beginning Friday, June 21, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen at 5:00 p.m. on June 25, 2024.

Detour: Eastbound Augspurger Road traffic will detour north on U.S. 127, northeast on Trenton Road, and south on Jackson Road. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
