UPDATE: NS HAS CHANGED THE CLOSURE DATES TO 6/27 – 6/28

The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close Fear Not Mills Road at the tracks west of U.S. 127 to tamp through the crossing and repave the approaches beginning Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. The road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on June 28 at 5:00 p.m.

Detour: Westbound Fear Not Mills Road traffic will detour northwest on U.S. 127, west on West Ritter Street, and south on South Mills Street/West Elkton Road. Eastbound traffic will reverse this route.
