St. Clair Township/ Village of Seven Mile
The Butler County Engineer’s Office reports that Norfolk Southern Railroad (NS) will simultaneously close Fear Not Mills Road and Spring Road at the tracks west of U.S. 127 to tamp through the crossing and repave the approaches beginning Monday, July 8, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. The roads will be closed to all through traffic and are tentatively scheduled to reopen on July 10 at 5:00 p.m.
After the reopening of Fear Not Mills Road and Spring Road, NS will move north to close Mill Street for several days.
Fear Not Mills Road and Spring Road Detour: Westbound Fear Not Mills Road and Spring Road traffic will detour northwest on U.S. 127, west on West Ritter Street, and south on Mill Street/West Elkton Road. Eastbound traffic will reverse this route.
Mill Street Detour: Northbound Mill Street traffic will detour south on West Elkton Road, east on Fear Not Mills Road, north on U.S. 127, and west on West Ritter Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.
